FLORIDA VIRTUAL SCHOOL

ATTENTION STUDENTS AND PARENTS!!! Florida legislation requires that all students who entered the 9th grade beginning August of 2011 be required to a take a minimum of one (1) course through virtual education in order to receive a high school diploma. For the 2012-2013 school year, 10th grade students will have the opportunity to fulfill this requirement during the school day. ALL World History and World History Honors classes will be taken on-line through FLVS in a computer lab at school. All coursework for the World History class will be completed during the school day, however students would have the opportunity to work ahead by completing assignments at home. There will be an informational meeting for parents in August, that will provide an overview of the program.

GRADUATION INFORMATION

ATTENTION SENIORS & PARENTS OF SENIORS!!! PLEASE make a note of the following upcoming Senior meetings. Each graduating Senior will receive six (6) tickets for graduation, which will be distributed at the Graduation Rehearsal. All meetings listed below are MANDATORY.

• Saturday, June 2nd @ 8AM- Graduation Rehearsal at CGHS Gymnasium
