ATTENTION JAGUARS Listed below is upcoming information pertaining to CGHS sports.


We are conditioning Monday to Friday. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we meet from 10:00am to 11:30 am for S/C...strength and conditioning. We meet in the afternoon for conditioning from 4:00pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. This schedule will change on August 4th. The schedule for the week of August 4th to August 8th will be 8:00 am to 11:00am and again from 4:00pm to 6:00pm The morning session we begin wearing equipment. The afternoon session we are in shorts and T-shirt. That will be the week of 8/4 to 8/8 August 11 start that week for our regular school workout. We will meet from 2:45pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday until 8/21. The day before the fall classic against Pompano.


We are on Tuesday & Thursday 4 to 5 weights 5 to 7 wrestling.

ATTENTION JAGUARS Do you want to earn college credits while attending high school? If the answer is Yes, then pay attention to the following information!!!! If you are interested in doing Broward College Dual Enrollment in the Winter (January) term, you must stop by guidance to meet with Mrs. Howard to verify that you are eligible and to complete the paperwork as soon as possible. Dual Enrollment paperwork for Broward College is due no later than Wednesday, October 1st to Mrs. Howard in Guidance.
You must meet the following criteria:

  • Earned 11 high school credits
  • Have an unweighted GPA of 3.0
  • Minimum required test scores on PERT, ACT, SAT, or 10th grade Reading FCAT

AP Biology
Students must visit Ms. Gabriel's website at and go to Forms and Docs. You need to read through AP Summer assignment 1 and Summer Assignment 2.

AP Environmental Science

You will be (1) collecting information on the key people, places, and events in environmental history, (2) organizing a list of basic environmental vocabulary terms for environmental science, and (3) putting together a booklet of environmental science current events. AP Psychology

"40 Studies That Changed Psychology" Any edition. Students need to purchase the book. They can buy a used one from amazon for under $10. I think it is over $40 at the book store. For each of the 40 studies students must (Must be handwritten, about one paragraph for each of these): 1. Summarize the study 2. Discuss the significance of the study 3. Discuss the real world application of the findings in the study.


ATTENTION PARENTS & JAGUARS When students head back to school in August, the Broward County Public Library wants to make sure that all students have one of the most important school supplies of all – a free public library card. Owning a Broward County Public Library card provides access to extensive print and online resources to support literacy and learning. When students receive their free library cards they will have free, immediate access to books (online and print), magazines, academic databases, internet access, test preparation materials, as well as homework help and additional resources.    Students can apply online or in-person with a parent/ guardian.
